Angerfist & Radical Redemption are working on an anthem!

Wait, what?! The biggest names in the current Hardcore ánd Raw Hardstyle scene are going to create an anthem together? No, your eyes are not deceiving you, Angerfist and Radical Redemption have indeed made plans for a collaborated anthem.

Because their music shows some resemblance both gentlemen already met in the past a couple of times to collaborate, aka work together on new music. This doesn’t come as a shock, because they both live in the same town in The Netherlands, called Denekamp. It seems like the soil in this town contains some sort of talent minerals, because artists like Crypsis and Act of Rage also live in Denekamp. The collaborations started back in 2013 when the track ‘When You’re Gone’ got a release on the Radical Redemption album The Spell of Sin.

When they noticed that people really liked the track it didn’t take long for them to make plans for a new collab. When Angerfist released his album The Deadfaced Dimension back in 2014, he featured a new collaboration with Radical Redemption, called ‘Messenger of God’. It seemed like these two masterminds developed some kind of an addiction, because the next two albums both featured new collabs, ‘Masters of The Great Conspiracy’ and ‘Repercussion’.

With their massive following it didn’t take long for the tracks to receive hundreds of thousands of views. It was clear, their people wanted more!

Two titans join forces
Both artists have successfully turned into radical icons over the years and are finally ready to take the next step in their careers. For the first time in history two artists from different genres will combine their strengths, qualities and creativity to bring forth a devastating anthem. The fact that both artists reside at the top of their scene can only mean that the anthem will become ‘next level’. Raw Hardstyle and Hardcore interconnect to turn deafening screeches, destructive kicks and dark sounds from the deepest pits of the underworld into a terrifying final product.

The chosen event for this anthem has already been unveiled. On August 6 the very first edition of AIRFORCE Festival, which is a collaboration from Art of Dance and Absolutely Fresh, will take place on the military airbase Twenthe in Enschede, The Netherlands. The theme and location are a perfect match with the creators of the anthem.

A few days ago the trailer of AIRFORCE Festival was uploaded to the Facebook event. Besides nice clips to present the festival you won’t spot anything out of the ordinary at first. But when you pause the video at 0:35 things suddenly become clear.

But wait, who do we see on the background? Exactly, those familiar outfits belong to none other than Angerfist and Radical Redemption. It’s clear that AIRFORCE Festival has been given an enormous scoop with this combination. Whether or not the anthem will be a Hardcore is not known at the moment. In the past collaborations from these two artists have resulted in Hardcore tracks, but since the festival features both Hardcore and Raw Hardstyle, I guess we just have to wait to find out. Let’s hope the organization will upload a preview soon!
