The duo, consisting of Headhunterz and Wildstylez, once formed the ultimate combination. Their self-titled Project One album from 2008 is still considered one of the most influential releases in hardstyle history. With iconic performances like Qlimax 2016 still etched in people’s memories, the call for a real return of Project One only continued to grow. These speculations are now leading towards an eruption.

Last weekend, a construction suddenly appeared showing a 5-minute video. According to Vroeger Was Alles Beter, the official announcement is expected tomorrow (Monday, October 27) at 18:00. The message “Mark the date – January 3, 2026” seems to hint at something big. The QR codes on the banners in the Brabanthallen lead to a registration link with more information. “What once was, will be once more.”

The hype is buzzing online. Is Project One really coming back, and what can we expect after all these years of silence? One thing is certain: if this comeback becomes a reality, the hardstyle world will be turned upside down once again. Perhaps even before GTA 6 is released.
