B-Front reveals what to expect from The Enlightenment at Qlimax

From mega hits from ‘Mysterias’ to ‘Electronic Symphony’ and from his own X-Qlusive and Thrillogy to the Qlimax anthem – in the more than 19 years that B-Front has been producing, he already has quite a few beautiful things to his name. In a brand new episode of PLAFONDDIENST – The Hardstyle Podcast, where we look ahead to Qlimax in detail, B-Front gives a preview of what you can expect from The Enlightenment on Qlimax.

Bob van der Palen, well known in the hardstyle scene as B-Front and in his early years as none other than DJ Bobx, talks in PLAFONDDIENST about the various acts he has built up over the years. “I think I’m the artist with the most acts,” he laughs. We mention B-Freqz, B-Frontliner, 2-Sidez, ZazaFront… and next weekend at Qlimax the live act The Enlightenment with Phuture Noize will be added.

B-Front and Phuture Noize presents: The Enlightenment

The Enlightenment is a collaboration with Marco Spronk, whom we all know as Phuture Noize. It is certainly not the first time that Bob and Marco have joined forces – their collab ‘My Beautiful Fantasy’ has already surpassed 30 million streams on Spotify. “For a hardstyle track, these are really serious numbers.”

Flash forward to Qlimax 2023 – next Saturday will be the first time that the two DJs will perform The Enlightenment together. What exactly can we expect from this brand new live act? “New music,” B-Front subtly reveals. “I’m not going to say more about it yet. I hope people will think it’s cool.” The first track from The Enlightenment, ‘Destination Unknown’, was released last Thursday.

With The Enlightenment, B-Front and Phuture Noize want to express their vision on hardstyle. If you compare the music of the DJs, there are many similarities. “We all know, of course, what the scene is like now, the harder sound is a bit more popular. We thought, let’s join forces again. Marco and I always get along so well in the studio, let’s Let’s see what we can do together.” The result is a great show that you absolutely should not miss at Qlimax.
