For Broken Element, The Broken Revolution marks the start of a new phase in his career. Back in 2020, he was already known for tracks like Hollow. But the pandemic, a shifting scene and years of setbacks led to long stretches of silence – offers never came, messages often went unanswered.

After leaving Scantraxx four years ago, the German hardstyle DJ realized it was time to take a different path. “I poured everything into my music, but nothing was moving,” he says. “At some point, I realized the game had changed – it wasn’t about passion or vision anymore, it was all about numbers. I had to decide: give up, or take everything into my own hands and build it from the ground up.”

That decision led to the creation of The Broken Revolution – a project that turned frustration into purpose, evolving into an artistic journey driven by quality, emotion, and meaning. “It became my way to take back creative control, to build my own platform where I can tell my story exactly the way I want – something I was working on for a long time” he says

“I don’t want to just release tracks”

While hardstyle is known for its raw energy and impact, Broken Element wants to bring something more personal. Each track within The Broken Revolution represents a chapter of his story – from anger to hope, from frustration to rebuilding – and is paired with short cinematic videos that give those emotions a visual voice. “I want every release to mean something,” he says. “Not just another drop in the endless stream of disposable tracks, but a piece of who I am.”

In a scene that often chases trends and quick hits, The Broken Revolution stands as a quiet act of defiance – a reminder that authenticity still matters.“That’s why I create these thirty-to-forty-second videos,” he adds. “They’re not just about promoting the music; they give it layers of depth, a space to express myself. Together, they form my universe: honest, artistic and constantly evolving.”

“The cinematic universe of The Broken Revolution”

He takes the reins on most of the mini-series, shaping them entirely around his own visual vision – a natural extension of a lifelong fascination with cinematography. “I want these films to be a direct expression of my artistry,” he says. “Through every visual detail, I can illuminate moments from my story in a way that feels truly mine.”

For larger-scale productions, he collaborates with skilled videographers from the scene to bring even more cinematic depth to the project, expanding The Broken Revolution beyond the mini-series while keeping its artistic core intact.

“I carved out my own platform to release music exactly the way I want.”

Although The Broken Revolution also carries the name of his freshly founded label, Broken Element sees the label itself less as a traditional platform and more as a natural expansion of his universe. “It’s a space built around my music and my vision,” he explains. “There aren’t plans yet to expand it for other artists – for now, it’s about creating and sharing my own work.”

At the moment, he handles almost everything himself: from making music, organizing releases to producing and coordinating the visuals. “It’s a lot to take on, and putting something so personal out there is a bit daunting,” he admits. “I hope people notice and, more importantly, feel the huge amount of effort and intention behind it. Looking ahead, I can already see how this chapter could evolve into a really compelling live concept in a year or so, bringing these tracks and visuals to life in a way that truly immerses the audience.”

The Broken Revolution

For Broken Element, The Broken Revolution isn’t about resistance – it’s about connection. “I want to build a community that’s part of this world,” he says. “Through frequent interactions and small giveaways, I want people to engage directly with the project, to feel included in the story rather than just observing from the sidelines.”

The first release from Broken Revolution lands this Thursday together with @alee kicking off the boldest, most personal chapter of Broken Element yet.
