Those who are familiar with Irradiate will now be introduced to Testarossa. After more than 7 years of preparations, this new alias next to the uptempo hardcore act will release ‘melodic rawstyle with extra hard drops’ under this alter ego. “I wanted to be ready in terms of quality.”

Loek Schagen has been producing for a very long time and is one of the driving forces behind Irradiate: an uptempo hardcore name with Rick as frontman. The two gentlemen made no secret of this and were featured on many festivals like Defqon.1, Dominator and Harmony of Hardcore, but are also responsible for major releases such as ‘KCKPRN’ with Deadly Guns and the Legacy of Blood album. “I have been working as the producer of Irradiate for some time, but I am now continuing in rawstyle with my own act,” Loek says about the beginnings of Testarossa.

It took Testarossa 7 years for a number of reasons. “I want to bring something new and unique and I wanted to feel like it was the right time to start – both personally and professionally.” After a teaser on the socials, the word is now finally out. “The music I make with Testarossa is energetic, danceable, cheerful (not cheesy) but full of surprises and hard drops.” There are no bookings planned yet (due to the focus on music), but there are reportedly several labels that are interested.

Which label will pick up Testarossa?

Testarossa currently has several tracks on the shelf, of which the first promising previews will soon appear online. Check out the announcement videos below and follow Testarossa closely via all social media. Irradiate will also continue as always.

Wouter. The adults. They told me they stole something new last month and that Redhead’s preview sounds like a mid-2000s Nustyle parody of “La Bouche – Be My Lover”.
