D-Block & S-te-Fan kick off 2026 with The Next Dimension, the official OST of APEX, Germany’s biggest indoor hardstyle event. The release coincides with the 20-year anniversary of Musical Madness, the organisation behind the festival, a combination that makes the collaboration extra special for the duo.

“We’re very honoured to create the APEX OST, especially in combination with the 20-year anniversary of Musical Madness,” D-Block & S-te-Fan explain. “We just came off our own 20 Years celebration, so this feels like a major milestone. The fact that Musical Madness trusted us with this OST means a lot to us. We really wanted to create something that does justice to their legacy.”
The Next Dimension
When working on the track, the APEX theme Enter The Next Dimension played a central role. According to the duo, it provided the perfect framework to connect the past and future of hardstyle. “We wanted to implement 20 years of hardstyle history and link that to the idea of entering the next dimension. APEX represents the full spectrum of hardstyle, and we tried to translate that into the structure of the track,” they explain.
The OST moves through different styles and energy levels, eventually ending with a recognisable, celebratory D-Block & S-te-Fan melody. Inspiration was drawn from the many phases the genre has gone through over the past two decades. “From the different sounds to the evolution of kicks, we wanted all of that to be felt. The ‘WE ARE STILL HERE’ shout symbolises both Musical Madness and ourselves.”
The Next Dimension is out now via Scantraxx and available on all streamingplatforms.

APEX is regarded as the biggest indoor hardstyle event in Germany and traditionally takes place at the beginning of the year. The 2026 edition marks a major step for the festival: for the first time, APEX will feature two large stages and the biggest line-up in the event’s history. The edition is fully centred around the 20-year anniversary of Musical Madness.
D-Block & S-te-Fan are also looking ahead to their performance. “We’re working together with Musical Madness on a sick anthem show. APEX’s production is always next level and the German crowd is insane. We can’t wait to kick off 2026 here.”
APEX – Enter The Next Dimension takes place on Saturday, 7 February, at the Maimarkthalle in Mannheim (Germany). The event once again serves as the stage for a large-scale indoor hardstyle production by Musical Madness. The final phase of ticket sales has now started: once they’re gone, they’re gone.
