Defqon.1 2026 line-up packed with unique moments: ‘Sacred Oath’

Defqon.1 has revealed its full 2026 line-up during The Release, alongside this year’s official anthem. D-Sturb ft. E-Life – Sacred Oath will serve as the soundtrack of the weekend, as thousands of warriors gather at The Holy Grounds in Biddinghuizen from June 25 to June 28. With a line-up featuring hundreds of artists, the countdown to the world’s biggest harder styles event has officially begun.

The Gathering

The first steps on The Holy Grounds are traditionally taken during The Gathering. This year, that honor on the BLUE goes to none other than D-Sturb, who opens the weekend as the official anthem creator. He is joined by Coone, D-Block & S-te-Fan, DJ Isaac, and Ran-D & Adaro, setting the tone for the rest of the weekend right from the start.

The Spotlight in the BLACK: Hysta

During The Gathering, the BLACK stage will shine its Spotlight on Hysta. The French hardcore artist takes on a prominent role during the opening of the weekend, right in the heart of the hardcore segment. The stage also features names like AniMe, Miss K8, Noxiouz, and Gezellige Uptempo.

RED as the beating heart with standout moments

As always, the RED serves as the ceremonial centerpiece of Defqon.1. In 2026, several standout moments are scheduled, especially on Friday. Outsiders has been given the honor of hosting the Opening Ceremony, officially kicking off the weekend on the mainstage. Later in the day, the winner of The RED Race takes the stage, while The Straikerz make their debut on the iconic mainstage with, fittingly, “All On Red”.

Another highlight is the unexpected clash between Warface and hard techno artist Restricted. The Friday night builds up to a major finale when Brennan Heart takes the Spotlight, an exclusive endshow moment entirely centered around him.

From POWER HOUR to Defqon.1 Legends

Saturday on the RED once again features fan-favorite highlights such as the Warrior Workout and POWER HOUR. Former RED Race participants Serzo & D-Charged return together, while Dual Damage teams up with RED debutant Mish. D-Sturb, as the anthem creator, closes the mainstage followed by the traditional Endshow.

On Sunday, GPF finally makes its long-awaited RED debut after years of fan demand with GPF presents: ERROR_404: NORMAL MUSIC NOT FOUND. The RED Closing Ceremony then marks the grand finale of the weekend, featuring performances by 4444 of a Kind, Gunz For Hire with XV: The Underground Kings, and of course The Defqon.1 Legends, before The Closing Ritual brings the festival to its official end.

New concept for BLUE nights: Encore

This year, the BLUE says goodbye to label hostings and introduces a brand-new concept: Encore. Instead, one artist takes full control of the stage for a dedicated showcase. Rebelion kicks things off on Friday night, followed by Phuture Noize on Saturday.

Sefa’s only show of the summer

Defqon.1 2026 also marks the return of several major artists. Sefa makes his comeback after missing last year’s edition. His set, This is Sefa, takes place on Friday at 11:30 on the UV and will be his only performance of the summer, making it one of the most unique moments of the weekend.

Another long-awaited return comes from Radical Redemption. After three years of absence, he brings The Return to the Tribe to the BLUE on Friday.

Defqon.1 – Sacred Oath

With the line-up now revealed, ticket demand is once again surging. Sunday tickets sold out immediately, but a final batch will be released on Saturday, March 28 at 13:00. Friday and Premium Weekend tickets are also close to selling out, while regular weekend tickets are moving fast.
