Anthem maker: D-Sturb

A highlight of every Kick-Off is the unveiling of the anthem creator, with D-Sturb taking the honors in 2026. With his unparalleled energy and innovative productions, he’s been a crowd favorite for years. Judging by the online reactions, it seems to have been a resounding success. D-Sturb himself also expressed his immense pride in this responsibility during the Kick-Off. “I immediately realized how special this is.”

Spotlight BLACK moves to The Gathering

The Spotlight is the end-of-night show phenomenon where Q-dance and the featured artist collaborate on the ultimate closing act of Friday’s festival. But this year, The Spotlight at BLACK is moving to Thursday, giving it an even more prominent role in The Gathering’s opening program. In previous years, grandmasters like Angerfist, Spitnoise, and Partyraiser have brought the closing act to that massive hardcore stage: who will perform at the upcoming Defqon.1 is still a secret.
