Defqon.1 Australia 2018 anthem made by Coone

Last weekend was all about the Dutch version of Defqon.1. Everyone knows that this years anthem was made by the gentlemen of Project One. However, the Dutch edition of this legendary festival is not the only edition: Defqon.1 Australia belongs to the Q-dance events as well. During The Closing Ceremony it was announced who had the honor to create the Defqon.1 Australia 2018 anthem.

During Coone’s set at The Closing Ceremony on the Sunday of Defqon.1 2018, it was announced that Coone was chosen to provide for the Defqon.1 Australia anthem. In 2014 the Belgium producer was responsible for the production of the Dutch Defqon.1 anthem, Survival Of The Fittest, but now it was time for an Australian anthem. During the main man’s set at the mainstage, a giant Australian flag flew over the crowd to make sure everyone knew what was up. The fragment of the livestream can be found down below.

With this anthem, Coone follows D-Block & S-te-Fan in 2017, Audiofreq, Code Black and Toneshifterz in 2016 and Frontliner and DIllytek in 2015 in the list of anthem creators. We have to wait a little bit to listen to the anthem in Sydney as Defqon.1 Australia takes place on the 15th of September.
