Defqon.1 Festival Australia anthem creators unveiled

This year’s Defqon.1 Festival Australia anthem has been made by D-Block & S-Te-Fan. The legendary hardstyle duo will also be headlining the Australian edition of the popular hard dance festival. The anthem is called ‘Eye of the storm’.

Earlier on, Q-dance already launched the official anthem trailer. Many people tried to guess who made it, but now it has been officially confirmed: D-Block & S-Te-Fan have created the Defqon.1 Festival Australia anthem for 2017. This year the festival’s theme is the same as it’s Dutch counterpart: Victory Forever. The Australian anthem however is not called after it’s theme, but is called ‘Eye Of The Storm’. With this anthem, D-Block & S-Te-Fan have chosen for an euphoric sound with uplifting melodies and a big summer feeling.

Defqon.1 Festival Australia will take place on September 16^th 2017 at Sydney International Regatta Center, the venue that hosted the Australian edition of Defqon.1 ever since the first edition in 2009. This year the festival gears up for the 9^th edition Down Under.

D-Block & S-Te-Fan anthems

It’s the fifth time D-Block & S-Te-Fan create an anthem for an event. Previous anthems were the 2009 anthem ‘Nature Of The Mind’ for Qlimax, the 2011 anthem ‘Magical Mystery’ for Intents Festival, the 2015 Rebirth Festival anthem ‘Worlds Collide’ and the 2016 anthem ‘Everything Changed’ for WiSH Outdoor. ‘Eye Of The Storm’ will be the latest addition to this list.
