Following the huge success of the podcast and hostings on several events, Digital Punk adds the last piece to the Unleashed-puzzle: Unleashed Records. With this all-new label Digital Punk wants to spread his vision on hardstyle even further.
The new label will release tracks of artist that featured in the radio show, but also other tracks. Digital Punk will closely coach the artists that choose to release their tracks on Unleashed Records. This implies that not only the big names will be releasing tracks, but that Digital Punk also wants to support new and upcoming talents.
Unleashed taking the scene by storm
The past 4 years saw a huge development for Unleashed. The podcast took the scene by storm and that translates back in huge numbers. Over 200.000 listeners tune in to the podcast every month, making it one of the biggest podcasts in the dance scene, building a solid fan base. With hostings at festivals like Intents and Megabase and a Unleashed club-tour in several countries, a label was the logical next step to take. The new label gives artists perspective to release their music on a big platform.
Labels
Managing a label is nothing new for Digital Punk. Earlier he was one of the label managers for the renowned TiLLT Records. Several years ago this was one of the first labels to focus on raw hardstyle. After Digital Punk left TiLLT and signed to A2 Records he focussed solely on producing. However it looks like it’s in his blood; With Unleashed Records he once again takes on the challenge of his former role as label manager.
Artists
The first release on Unleashed Records will be the Intents Anthem of 2017, made by label manager Digital Punk and Adaro. Also the most recent track from Public Enemies, Crowd’s Gotta Move, will appear on the label. Other artists that have tracks lined up for release are Jack of Sound, Outbreak and Clockartz.
