After a milestone edition that made history, Dominator is gearing up for a new chapter. With the theme “Fatal Fortune,” the world’s biggest hardcore festival returns in 2026, a year that will revolve around fate, risk, and the razor-sharp line between triumph and downfall.

The 2025 edition was entirely dedicated to 20 Years of Hardcore Domination. Two decades of pounding kicks, iconic anthems, and legendary performances came together at E3 Strand, where Dominator celebrated its twentieth anniversary alongside the biggest names in the scene. For this special occasion, several hardcore brands were invited to host their own stages, transforming the grounds into a true city of steel filled with distinct styles and sounds – a unique fusion of the global hardcore community.
The Gatekeeper
For the first time in the festival’s history, the mainstage was officially opened with a special moment: The Gatekeeper. In this new tradition, one artist takes center stage to open the gates to what promises to be a legendary day. This year, that honor went to Angerfist – a name that has been synonymous with the Dominator sound for decades. As an undisputed icon of the hardcore scene, he was the perfect artist to inaugurate this new tradition and lead the crowd into the next era.
Dominator 2025 Aftermovie
The recently released official aftermovie revisits this historic edition. The footage captures the crowd’s unmatched energy and the impressive stage production that defined Dominator 2025. The mainstage, designed as two gabbers, stood as a visual tribute to hardcore culture itself – raw, united, and indestructible. Also featured was an industrial structure by the water, an immense steel construction reminiscent of a towering crane – a perfect embodiment of the raw, mechanical atmosphere that defines Dominator. Together, these elements formed the backdrop for a celebration that honored the past and paved the way for the future.

With the anniversary now officially behind them, Dominator turns its gaze toward the future. In 2026, the festival opens a new chapter with Fatal Fortune – a theme where fate, risk, and hardcore energy collide. The world of steel and dust evolves into a game of luck and courage, where chips fall, dice roll, and the roulette of hardcore spins once more.
