Dropzone and Forbidden Island were already at the same location in Novalja, so a collaboration is a logical decision. “With Forbidden Island we had an amazing three years at the end of August in Croatia, but we had more and more requests by our hardcore fans, especially ones from overseas, to move the festival earlier”, the Forbidden Island team adds about this new chapter. “Since we are on the same location anyway, joining forces made perfect sense for us, but only under one condition: we need to make this the world’s biggest hard dance holiday and include many dedicated hardcore parties that we have developed on that location over the years, so all hardcore fanatics also have their place at Dropzone.”
