Last Saturday Get Wrecked took place, and after a sold-out edition at Maaspoort last year, the festival moved to Autotron for an XXL edition. This edition attracted rawstyle lovers in large numbers, who could look forward to a lineup full of live sets and the premiere of the new live act of the hosts’: Dual Damage.

Before Dual Damage could begin their first set, the audience was already well warmed up with sets from Heavy Resistance vs BMBERJCK, Collusion vs Revelation, and Unload LIVE. With every set, the energy seemed to build more and more, with the first real climax being the opening of Dual Damage vs Bloodlust, which was, of course, loudly opened with the iconic Get Wrecked 2024 Tool. The guys appeared on stage in brand-new yellow denim jackets. During this set, ‘Mama Damage’ (Jesper’s mother) was invited to join on stage to klaplong along to celebrate her birthday. It was obvious from her smooth hips that she had been raised with kloenken.
The day was filled with surprising fake drops and new edits, such as the ‘Bounce Live edit (Live edit!)’ by Sparkz, who, together with Hard Destiny, was responsible for this year’s anthem: Breaking Boundaries. Both artists excelled with their live sets. Later in the evening, it was time for The Straikerz LIVE, who made the entire audience kickroll to, as expected, ‘I Just Wanna Kickroll.’ Exproz also distinguished himself from the ‘kloenks’ with his heavy kicks and many screeches during his Jailbreaker LIVE set.
Dual Damage LIVE
One of the absolute highlights of the day was, as expected, the new live act of Dual Damage. The set began with an epic Lord of the Rings-like narrator, which was soon brutally interrupted by the destructive Dual Damage. From the back of the room, a laser appeared, carving the Dual Damage logo onto the screen. The set kicked off with a live edit of their previous anthem, ‘Step Into The Chaos,’ after which the audience was overwhelmed for half an hour with new tracks, including a collab with Kruelty. Throughout the set, the story came back again and again, developing into a duel between Dual Damage and the narrator. The guys also appeared in a new ‘live uniform’ with red accents during this set.

Unexpected uptempo finale
Unfortunately, Kruelty was unable to perform due to issues at the airport in France, meaning he couldn’t play his set at Get Wrecked. As a result, the final performance of his track ‘Bloodbath Machinery’ had to be canceled. Luckily, the attendees didn’t leave empty-handed, as Lekkerfaces came in to close the event with a bang. From the first minute of his set, uptempo beats blasted through the speakers, and the message was clear: Autotron Got Wrecked.
