In 2026, Faceless is leveling up. Not only is the German festival brand expanding its run of indoor shows at Turbinenhalle Oberhausen, it is also launching its first-ever open-air festival. These events mark why this is one of the scene’s fastest-growing movements.

Faceless events have rapidly risen through the German scene since their start a couple of years ago. In just five years, the brand has grown into a fixture in the festival scene, known for its passionate indoor productions and forward thinking mentality. What started from small club shows has quickly grown into a multi-format force.

This year the brand is not only expanding its indoor portfolio, but also stepping into the outdoor space. On August 1 they are organizing their first ever open air event with a 17 hour long indoor and outdoor concept.

Refuse To Follow

Before taking the show outside, Faceless are organizing two more indoor events. On April 5 hardcore artist Deadly Guns returns with a full-scale label showcase. His signature kicks, relentless drive, and joint project Slaughterhouse with N-Vitral have anchored him in the uptempo scene. Black Reaper ‘Refuse To Follow’ marks a celebration of the label, and of ten years of Deadly Guns.

“It honestly feels unreal. Ten years ago I was just making music in my room, and now I get to celebrate a full decade as Deadly Guns with my own label hosting an event in a legendary venue like Turbinenhalle. That already means a lot, but playing five different sets on Easter Sunday takes it to another level. It really feels like I’m showing every side of myself in one night. From where I started to where I am now.”

The hardest easter ever

This Easter is even more special for Deadly Guns, because he gets to share it with artists he loves. “What makes it even more special is that I get to celebrate it together with all the artists on the Black Reaper Label. That’s something I’m really proud of, because we’ve built this together. It’s more than just a milestone, it’s a moment we all share.”

According to the artist, the night represents both the old and the new Deadly Guns. “I’m bringing everything. The raw early sound, the new direction, the energy people know me for.  All into one event. This isn’t just another set, it’s a full statement of what Deadly Guns is about.”

Black Reaper ‘Refuse To Follow’ is on Easter Sunday April 5, 2026 in the Turbinenhalle in Oberhausen. Check out the Faceless Instagram for more information and tickets.

SCAR SANCTUARY

Just a little over a month later, Riot Shift return to Turbinenhalle with their own concept event. On 9 May, the duo are celebrating the release of their first album: SCAR SANCTUARY. Known for their innovative blend of dark, emotional rawstyle, the artists take visitors on a special journey, building an immersive experience that connects the audience directly to the album’s narrative.

SCAR SANCTUARY represents the idea that everything you go through leaves a mark — the “scar” — and the sanctuary is where that weight is transformed to something greater. The album explores this idea through the full spectrum of hard dance music, from raw and aggressive to melodic and emotional, all tied together through a dark, immersive world. The showcase brings that concept to life on stage, turning the music into a unified experience rather than just a set of tracks.”

A full harder styles spectrum

The line-up spans everything from rawstyle and techno, to hardcore and extreme uptempo artists. The line-up reflects our world around SCAR SANCTUARY, our album collaborators and closest friends in the scene. It spans rawstyle, techno, hardcore and uptempo, bringing together all the styles we personally like in one night.

One special b2b between Riot Shift and another artist is as of yet secret. It’s an artist we go way back with, have collaborated with before, and who was already on the first Enter Dystopia line-up.

Riot Shift SCAR SANCTUARY takes place in the Turbinenhalle in Oberhausen on 9 May, 2026. Tickets and info are available via Faceless’ Instagram.

Built on passion and driving the community

For the organization, the artist-events are not just a programming choice, but a way of supporting the harder styles scene. “As Faceless, we always try to do something special together with artists that we want to support with our events. Of course, we have our own show concepts like our Halloween event or the Day & Night, but outside of these we really like to help artists to fulfill their creative selves and support them by giving them a platform to host their events.”

These artist collaborations help both the brand and the artists keep on innovating. This will be our fourth event together, and it’s always great working with Faceless. We consistently come up with fresh, unconventional ideas, which makes every collaboration feel unique,” Riot Shift say.

From small clubs to Faceless Open Air

This philosophy has helped fuel their rapid expansion. From small club shows, to five Faceless events in 2025, and now a full-on open air festival. “Adding an Open Air festival just felt like it was the right step for us as a brand. But, we could never have done it if it wasn’t for the massive support of our community over the last couple of years. This is what makes events like these even possible in the first place.”

With a 17-hour day-to-night concept and a growing list of artist-driven events, Faceless is no longer just part of the German scene, it’s actively shaping its future. Faceless Open Air Festival takes place on August 1, 2026 on the outdoor grounds at the Turbinenhalle in Oberhausen. More information about the event can be found on the organizations Instagram page.
