HSU Events continues to raise the bar. Without slowing down, the Australian hard dance giant is already moving on to its next milestone: the organization is set to deliver the biggest production ever at Knockout Outdoor 2026. “With the country’s largest mainstage ever.”

While the Australian organization brought together tens of thousands of ravers at Midnight Mafia on the Sydney Showground last weekend, all eyes are already shifting toward the future. On Saturday the 3rd of October 2026, Australia’s biggest outdoor hard dance festival returns to ENGIE Stadium and the surrounding grounds in Sydney. This year revolves entirely around the theme “Level Up”, and HSU is taking that VERY literally.

Highest festival stage ever on the Southern Hemisphere

The organization is going all out with more than 40 artists spread across three areas. The mainstage returns to the gigantic stadium itself, featuring the tallest festival stage ever built on the Southern Hemisphere. Meanwhile, the MEGA PIT receives an upgrade with extra bass pressure, lasers, and pyro, while The Oasis transforms into a full Boiler Room-style setting featuring, among others, an uptempo closing set.

The ambitions are sky-high. HSU promises the biggest production in the history of the event, complete with next-generation laser shows, redesigned stages, and a total experience that, according to the organization, should “change reality itself.”

HSU pulls another rabbit out of the hat

What makes HSU especially interesting is its reputation for unexpectedly going all out. The organization is known for pulling rabbits out of hats. Earlier this year, DJ The Prophet also created a surprise moment during HTID, even though he had officially retired from performing after his final show at Defqon.1 2023. These kinds of moves additionally to the return of Project One and Showtek are exactly what continue to push expectations surrounding Knockout Outdoor even higher.

And once again this year, the organization knows how to surprise… Headhunterz will make an official return after announcing his farewell at Knockout Outdoor. HSU pulls it off once again. The biggest artists in hardstyle, RAW and hardcore are present at Knockout Outdoor, including several Journey-sets and a Get Wrecked hosting.

Ticket sales begin with a presale on May 7, followed by the general sale on May 8.
