Malice speaks respectfully about the impact Delete has had on him. The Italian artist, who recently announced his comeback, emphasizes that Delete’s influence has shaped not only his sound but also his entire career. “Without him, I wouldn’t be here.”

According to Malice, hearing Delete for the first time was a turning point. While he previously listened to artists from labels such as A² Records, Delete’s music immediately felt different. “This isn’t normal, but I have to keep listening to this,” describes one of the founders of Aggressive Records. That raw, dark energy and emotion caused Malice and those around him to view music differently. In fact, he states that without Delete, many artists in the current RAW scene might not even have existed.
Additionally, Malice strikes a more personal chord. He speaks with great respect about the emotion contained in Delete’s music and suggests that it was created out of genuine feelings, like ‘Shut The Mind Up’. He tries to incorporate that same emotional charge into his own music as well. “For me, RAW is a way to let something go from the inside,” he explains. “I would really like to know what he would have done in 2026.”
Malice: “What would Delete have done in 2026?”
In an open conversation, it becomes clear how unique he still considers Delete. Even today, with all the developments within RAW, Malice hears elements in his tracks that, according to him, are not truly equaled by anyone. “Tracks like ‘Relentless’ and ‘Lunatic’ still fit perfectly into contemporary sets.”
The conversation about Delete forms an important part of a broader, honest podcast in which Malice also discusses his difficult period, his ADHD diagnosis, and his recent comeback. Listen to Malice now in the latest English episode of PLAFONDDIENST – The Hardstyle Podcast via all known channels.
