MANDY: “I don’t get why DJs won’t admit to having a ghost producer”

At Tomorrowland, MANDY elaborately talks about her musical team to DJ Mag. By working together with her team she has several successful tracks on her name, and she definitely isn’t ashamed for it: “I don’t get why DJs won’t just admit to having a ghost producer.” She also explains there’s a lot of ghost producing going on in other genres, and a lot of famous house DJs have an entire team working alongside them.
“Working together means more ideas are coming together as well, and you can create better productions together. We observe musical trends and try to create tracks that fit me as an artist. I think it’s a great way to achieve great results!”
“There’s still a stigma attached to it, and I don’t get why”
To close the interview, MANDY also shares more about her future plans: right now she is working with a Belgium singer/songwriter on a new track, which will be released somewhere this year. Furthermore, she hopes her remix of ‘Don’t You Worry Child’ will be able to get an official release – the track that was played on the Tomorrowland mainstage this year by none other than 3 Are Legend – the Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and Steve Aoiki act.
