This Saturday, Poppodium 013 will be all about melody and euphoria. Melodic Madness returns on September 26 with ‘We Are The Melody’, an edition where the music will be given more room than ever before. Longer sets, forgotten melodies, special combinations and performances created specifically for this day: here’s what to expect from Melodic Madness 2026.

More time for melodies you don’t hear every week
This year, Melodic Madness isn’t about fitting as many artists as possible into one line-up. Instead, the event deliberately focuses on longer sets, allowing artists to dig deeper into their archives. This creates more room for personal favorites, forgotten euphoric tracks and classics that are rarely played nowadays.
Adrenalize and Refuzion, for example, will join forces behind the decks for the first time during Scandinavian Madness: 90 Minutes. Atmozfears and Demi Kanon will also get 90 minutes to combine euphoric classics with new melodic material.
Jay Reeve takes things one step further with Melodic Madness XXL. During an exclusive two-hour set, he aims to tell the full story of the concept through classics, new music and tracks that have shaped Melodic Madness. “This set is probably gonna be my most intense set ever and will represent everything that Melodic Madness stands for,” Jay Reeve says.
Special shows created for this edition
The extra time isn’t the only thing that sets this edition of Melodic Madness apart. Several shows on the line-up have been created specifically for this edition. Cyber, Noiseshock and Sylence will come together for Return Of The Returns, a one-time exclusive euphoric comeback show.
Ecstatic will also present The Essence, Avi8 returns with Higher, while Solstice brings an upgraded version of Intense Euphower LIVE. With EMS: Classics Madness, the classic side of euphoric hardstyle will also have a prominent place on the line-up.
The line-up has since gained another special significance. Wasted Penguinz recently announced that he will temporarily step away from performing, meaning his set at Melodic Madness will be his final performance for the time being. This unintentionally gives his show in Tilburg an extra special meaning for fans of the emotional and melodic side of hardstyle.
“The melody is still alive”
Audiotricz and Ecstatic will also return together as Progressive Hardstyle. In addition, the duo is responsible for the official Melodic Madness soundtrack, ‘One Symphony’. The track’s message perfectly reflects what Melodic Madness stands for: “The melody is still alive.” A fitting message for an event where melody and euphoria have taken center stage from the very beginning.

That philosophy will also be reflected in Saturday’s setting. For the first time, Melodic Madness will feature a boiler room setup inside Poppodium 013, with the crowd surrounding the artists. Combined with the longer sets, the event aims to go back to the basics: less emphasis on fitting as many different names as possible into the line-up and more time for the music and experiencing it together.
For Jay Reeve, that is exactly what Melodic Madness is all about. “For me, Melodic Madness has always been much more than just an event. It is about that feeling when thousands of people come together and sing along to the best melodies in Hardstyle music.” According to Jay Reeve, those melodies can create joy, hope and sometimes even bring a tear to your eye. “It’s the power of Hardstyle music in its most emotional form.”
