The biggest and most popular EDM festival of the world, Tomorrowland, will take place during a staggering two weekends next year. It’s not the first time that the festival is hosted a second time in one year. Both weekends will take place in the Belgian town of Boom.

Popularity
The first edition of Tomorrowland took place in 2005. It was a relatively ‘small’ festival with only 9.000 visitors. Soon the festival was one of the biggest in Europe and after that it became the biggest EDM festival in the world. In 2014 Tomorrowland celebrated its 10th anniversary and they decided to host the festival not once, but twice, which made room for 360.000 visitors throughout the weekend.

Sold Out
It’s a known fact that Tomorrowland is a festival where the tickets sell out in no time. The last edition attracted an astonishing 180.000 people. Still, there were complaints about the size and the fact that Belgian people couldn’t buy a ticket that easily anymore. So Tomorrowland decided to host the festival for a second time. Next year it’s expecting 360.000 people and will therefore maintain its position of the biggest EDM festival in the world.

Diversity
The festival is well known for its big diversity. At the last edition there where 16 stages and they attracted the best dj’s in the world. Artists like Armin van Buuren, Afrojack, Hardwell and David Guetta played at the mainstage and for many years there has also been a Q-dance stage. The big names at this stage were Brennan Heart, Coone, Wildstylez and Noisecontrollers.

The first weekend of Tomorrowland will take place on the 21st, 22nd and 23rd of July and the second one will take place on the 28th, 29th and 30th of July. Keep an eye on our website and social media for more information about this festival.
