Phuture Noize has just announced that he is going to take a break for a while. The hardstyle producer already gave an heads up earlier this week regarding a huge announcement, and now the word is finally out: “I disagree with the current trend in the DJ industry. I am going to stop touring for the coming months so I can learn to be better at everything that matters to me.”
With the video that appeared this night, Phuture Noize shares that he has the idea he’s feeling more as a performer instead of an artist. In the last 3 years, the man behind Black Mirror Society produced three different albums, and among others an Defqon.1 anthem with a massive amount of performances worldwide. In a way that’s entirely his own, Marco says now is the moment to take some time for himself in a poetical way.
“i disagree
i disagree with the current trend in the dj industry.
the culture tries to push
you doing as many gigs as you can.
when you break out
of the talent region in hardstyle
the industry tries to push you
towards creating as much success as possible
everyone thinks you will reach that
by simply doing as many bookings as you can
thus creating as much short-term financial gaini disagree
i disagree with saying that your level of success
is based on your financials
but i believe
i believe succes lies in the creation of amazing music
i want to shift my focus on being a real artist instead of just a performeri am going to stop touring for the coming months so i can learn
to be better at everything that matters to me
i will devote this time to create a brand new album for next year”
Phuture Noize won’t be performing for a couple of months: “So i can learn”
Some fans who paid close attention, already noticed that Supremacy was the very last Phuture Noize booking so far. When the hardstyle DJ is going to return, is not known yet.
