Last weekend, Reminder 15 Years of Crypsis took place, an event dedicated to the legacy of this (raw) hardstyle pioneer. Many positive reactions to the day were shared online, including a heartfelt message from none other than Radical Redemption.

On the outstanding lineup of 15 Years of Crypsis, you would quickly think of the name Radical Redemption, who has close ties with the host. Radical took his first steps under Crypsis’ wing, and the two from the Twente region have performed together multiple times at the GelreDome, not only as colleagues but also as good friends. However, he was not to be left out on this special day and joined Crypsis and Chain Reaction for a track during their B2B performance. For one track, the former Minus Militia was back on stage together.
After the event, Joey (Radical Redemption) shared a heartfelt message on Instagram in the comments of Crypsis’ post. In it, he expressed his deep admiration for Crypsis, an artist he sees as a major source of inspiration and a mentor.

“After 15 years, seeing such a crowd full of people, singing along, shouting along, but most of all, enjoying themselves. That’s something only for a select few. Your view on music has shaped, driven, and inspired me, and it continues to do so. You keep going, you’ll always be Cryppie, the man who gave me the Statement of Intent album, 5 months before it was even released.
‘I trust you, go ahead and play it,’ with those words of yours, I hopped on my bike and rode home to tell mom and dad about everything I experienced that day.
You have a heart of gold, and I hope with every fiber of my being that in 15 years we’ll all celebrate the 30th anniversary together. You are a legend, someone who shaped hard dance music but above all enriched it with your golden personality. I hope you’ll enjoy this day for a long time, because if anyone deserves it, it’s you.”
