Pluggerz - True Tone Uni-fit Oordoppen

Some ideas don’t originate in meetings or brainstorming sessions. They arise somewhere in the middle of a festival site, as the last kicks sound and you look at each other with one thought: is this it? That is how Reignite Festival came into being: three friends with a shared passion for hardstyle classics who decided to take matters into their own hands.

For the three friends behind Reignite Festival, the story began at Vroeger Was Alles Beter Festival. For years, they saw it all and partied a lot, not as organizers, but as enthusiasts. But in recent years, something started to bother them. The festival industry was under pressure, events disappeared or changed, and for classics lovers, the season seemed to end just a little too soon every year.

Last July, Bram, Roel, and Nick joined forces. After a day full of nostalgia and wonderful classics at VWAB Festival, they looked at each other. “And now?” The summer was far from over, but for classics, it felt as if the season had already closed. And so they decided to do something that many people talk about, but few really dare to do: they were going to organize it themselves.

From passion to plan

In late summer 2025, they made the decision. No big company, no profit-oriented investors, just three friends with a shared love for the sound. “By enthusiasts, for enthusiasts,” and so Reignite Festival was born.

Since then, their lives have largely revolved around one goal: putting on an event that feels the way classics are meant to be. Intimate, sincere, and full of energy. They do this alongside their full-time jobs, in the evenings and on weekends. Every free moment they can find. Not for profit. Not for status. But because they feel the scene needs this.

They started a foundation, decided not to pay themselves a salary, and reinvest everything back into the event. Because if you’re going to do it, you have to do it right.

Rise of the Phoenix

With the name Reignite and the theme Rise of the Phoenix, the message is clear: this is not a nostalgic look back, but a return. “It is going to be a hot day no matter what. Lots of fire, full energy. We need to go full throttle and standing still is not an option.”

Don’t expect endless hikes from one stage to the next. Reignite deliberately opts for a compact site with intimate stages, where the old-fashioned, cozy atmosphere comes fully into its own.

A line-up that speaks volumes

Precisely because the organization does not need to make a profit, they can do something that has become rare: invest maximally in the experience. And that is reflected in the line-up. No half measures, no compromises. Carefully chosen names to create that true classics vibe.

Heavyweights such as Adaro, E-Force, Frontliner, Jason Payne, and Jones take to the Hardstyle Classics stage. Names that guarantee pure nostalgia and a non-stop atmosphere. The RAW Classics stage is also packed with icons of the scene. Think Chain Reaction, Deetox, Digital Punk, Sub Sonik, and Unresolved, with the latter pulling out all the stops for 90 minutes straight. In addition to these names, many more artists will be blasting the best classic kicks from the speakers all day long.

As if that weren’t enough, a small-scale third stage will follow. This will offer a broader representation of the harder styles, but it is certain that golden hits will be played on this stage as well. The line-up is currently unknown, but the area will be filled primarily with local talent.

After the first names on the lineup were dropped, ticket sales picked up immediately. It confirms what they already knew: the demand is there. Perhaps more than ever.

“From the enthusiast, for the enthusiast”

What makes Reignite Festival special lies not just in the music or the concept. It lies in the intention. This is not an event built to grow into ‘bigger, louder, more’. It is an event organized to be good. “It will be a party ‘by the enthusiast, for the enthusiast’, so if you appreciate classics, you really have to come and close out the season here.”

“None of us three as the organization take a single cent from this. External expertise for content creation, or logistical matters such as a traffic plan, naturally have to be paid for.” Fortunately, the enthusiasts’ intention seems to be spreading to others. “Many VIP and partner packages have already been purchased by our circle of friends and acquaintances, who are therefore helping to make the party possible.” People who not only cooperate, but also share the belief.

A fiery season finale

If all goes according to plan, Reignite Festival will be the place where classics lovers wrap up their season. Not quietly, but with fire, energy, and a line-up that gives it their all one last time.

Reignite Festival takes place on September 12, 2026, in Vinkel (near ‘s-Hertogenbosch). The rapid ticket sales confirm the vision the friends hold: the demand is there. Tickets and more information about the event can be found on the festival’s website.
