Solutio & The I’s return after ten years with an exclusive closing at Reminder

After more than a decade of silence, Solutio & The I’s are returning to the stage. The iconic duo, who last performed together in 2014, will make their comeback at Reminder – The Elements of Hardstyle with an exclusive closing special titled ‘The Cry of the Mistress’. With this announcement, Reminder adds a surprising and much-talked-about act to Team Fire, which is now officially complete.

Solutio & The I’s were known for their powerful, raw and dark sound, which left a lasting mark on the early days of raw hardstyle. Tracks like ‘Mistress’, ‘Immortal’, ‘2.17’ and ‘The Cry’ grew into absolute classics within the scene and were played for years by the biggest names in the genre. Their sets were defined by unmistakable energy, heavy kicks and an atmosphere strongly tied to the golden era of raw.

Their success brought the duo to major international stages, including Defqon.1, Decibel Outdoor, The Qontinent and Q-BASE. Reflecting on their return, Solutio & The I’s say the spark was never truly gone: “The passion never disappeared, it just moved to the background for a while. After a long silence, we felt the moment had finally come to return… for the music and to drink paid beer and Captain Morgan again.”

With the addition of Solutio & The I’s, the Fire element is now fully completed, joining Adaro, B-Front and Crypsis. ‘The Cry of the Mistress’ serves as the closing act for this element and pays tribute to the oldschool raw sound that defined the duo’s legacy.

Reminder – The Elements of Hardstyle

Reminder – The Elements of Hardstyle takes place on Saturday, 14 March 2026 at Hemkade 48 in Zaandam. This edition revolves around four teams, each representing a different corner of the classics: Earth, Fire, Water and Air. Each team performs a two-hour B2B set on the mainstage, followed by a special act that fits the element’s identity. Earth brings the melodic foundations of hardstyle, Fire focuses on the intense and raw side, Water represents emotion and euphoria, and Air takes the crowd back to the signature early sound. With The Elements of Hardstyle, Reminder aims to bring the various roots of the genre together in one night, wrapped in the familiar classics identity of the event.
