Thomas explains: “We’re going to introduce our new live act: Our World. Normally our live sets are 30 minutes, but this time it will be a full hour. We’ve got so much new, crazy music that half an hour just feels too short. You want to give the tracks the space to be heard in their full glory. We’re in a super good flow in the studio and, in our opinion, we’ve got our best music ever waiting to be played.”

Four themes instead of one

The visuals are also getting a major upgrade. “This time we’ve got four themes instead of one. It’s going to be next level,” says Thomas. Nigel adds: “Yeah, it’s four times as much work… but also four times as epic. Everything around it – the set, the visuals, the entire show – is being scaled up. This is going to be really sick.”

Despite all the big plans, the duo emphasize what remains most important to them. Nigel: “We’re really going back to the basics of music. It’s all about the experience. We want people to truly live it and remember it, not just feel like it was another set that flew by.”

Bad Trip x Overdose closing

Besides the premiere of Our World, a stacked line-up is set with Rebelion Beyond The Horizon, Adrenalize, Hard Driver, MANDY and The Saints. The closing act was kept secret for a while, but in the podcast they reveal: Bad Trip vs Overdose.

“That’s going to be Bad Dose, or maybe The Final Trip,” jokes Thomas. Nigel explains: “We wanted to bring back Bad Trip, but bigger. So we asked the Rebelion guys. Together we’re making brand new music just for this closing. It’s going to be insane.”
