Supersized Kingsday Festival is counting down to the biggest and most fun King’s Day festival in the Netherlands. This year, King Willem-Alexander’s birthday will not be celebrated on Sunday, but on Saturday 26 April, and that’s why a generous line-up full of Dutch “gezelligheid” and harder styles is returning to Aquabest.
For true enthusiasts, Supersized Kingsday has been the orange place to celebrate King’s Day for over a decade. In the run-up to the national spectacle, there is even a Custom Supersized Kingsday Festival barrel organ in various major Dutch cities, in which hardstyle/hardcore tracks by Dual Damage, Paul Elstak and Rejecta (among others) have been given an organ twist. Supersized is not called the biggest & “the gezelligste” for nothing.
Royal line-up for Supersized Kingsday
The long-awaited line-up for this edition has just been announced and organization B2S is going all out with 7 stages and more than 85 artists. Think for example of Frequencerz & Outsiders and the formation Brabantse Gezelligheid with B-Front, Jones, The Pitcher & Zany at the Hardstyle. But also Rebelion & Regain and Dual Damage & Element & Unload at the RAW, and Partyraiser and Major Conspiracy at the Uptempo area.
Supersized Kingsday promises to be an orange spectacle again with the best artists from the harder styles: whatever your musical preference, there is something for everyone to experience. From Hardstyle, RAW and Uptempo to Hardcore, Hardcore Classics, Hardstyle Classics and even Dutch Style, all BPMs will be featured. Curious which artists will make Aquabest completely orange? “Isn’t King’s Day always on April 27th?”
King’s Day (April 27) is an official holiday in the Netherlands, but there is a single exception. “If April 27 falls on a Sunday, King’s Day will be celebrated on Saturday”, the Dutch government also states about bringing the party forward. Supersized Kingsday is therefore on Saturday: “That means partying to the max, and recovering from a hangover the next day!”
