In a special episode of PLAFONDDIENST, recorded right on the dancefloor of REBELLiON Indoor, we catch up with The Saints just before their mainstage debut – together with Mish. Surrounded by strobe lights and the sound of stage prep, Jules and Rick share their excitement, their love for the event’s unique vibe, and a small teaser of what’s to come.

“Such a sick vibe!” Jules says immediately when we bring up REBELLiON. Rick nods: “Yeah, for sure. It actually feels like a proper festival, even though we’re indoors and outside the main season. You still get that full-on festival energy.” Jules adds: “You drive up through the fields, and suddenly there’s this massive tent – it really brings that outdoor festival vibe back.”
The mainstage tent at REBELLiON is the same one used for the REBiRTH 2024 mainstage, which, according to Rick, helps carry that signature feeling through: “That’s what I love about REBELLiON, it has that same energy. When I play here, it honestly feels like I’m at a festival.” Jules agrees: “And the crowd here is so passionate. The moment you step inside, you’re completely shut off from the outside world. In November, that’s exactly what you need.”
Holy Madness LIVE at REBiRTH
Earlier this year, The Saints already performed in the REBELLiON tent at REBiRTH Festival, with their first-ever liveshow Holy Madness LIVE. Jules proudly looks back: “That was insane. The very first Holy Madness, with those visuals of Zeus skating on his jaw, so sick, man.” Rick adds: “The vibe was absolutely magical.” Jules nods: “Yeah, you never forget something like that. Our first real LIVE show, so much love and creativity went into that.”
And as if that wasn’t enough, they’re already teasing what’s next. “We’re working on a new liveshow,” Jules reveals. “Holy… you’re really gonna love it, but I can’t say anything more. Wait, did I just say the name?”
Mish vs The Saints
When it comes to their B2B set with Mish at REBELLiON, the guys are full of energy. “It’s going to be pure fun,” Rick laughs. “She brings so much energy to the stage, and we’ve prepared a few mashups with each other’s tracks, just what you need for these cold winter days.” Jules adds that the set will be all about good vibes and crowd connection: “Sing along, klaplongen – maybe even a little Christmas edit. Don’t forget your Santa hats!”
