Theracords presents The Opposition: the album

Some time ago, Theracords presented their new live-act called ‘The Opposition’. This brand new act is a formation consisting of different Theracords artists at every show. During their first performance at Rebirth Festival this weekend the formation will contain DJ Thera, Caine, Invector and MC Livid. Last night, Theracords had another big announcement. The Opposition is not just a live-act, it’s also an album.

“Everything will become clear when we reveal our secret plans. Connecting souls from the underground movement is our main priority.” With these lyrics they introduced themselves in the trailer of the album. Thera told us that the album will be filled with only brand new tracks and that every Theracords artist will be featured on it. Their will be a lot of collabs on the album and all the tracks will tell a story with ‘The Opposition’ as its central theme.

On the 9th of June, there will be an album release party in Club Epic in Tilburg. Until then, you can see ‘The Opposition’ at 4 different festivals, including Rebirth Festival and Beat The Bridge. How this concept will continue after all this remains a question. Thera told us that he is open for the expansion of this project, but he does want it to remain exclusive.

The last thing Thera said to us is that this entire project is really important to the entire Theracords label: “We all love hardstyle very very much and that’s why we feel connected to every one who feels the same way”. The music, that’s what it’s all about. The slogan of Theracords is ‘Music produced from the heart’ and we can see why.
