VWAB Festival is gearing up for the biggest classics showdown in history. With over 20,000 fans, a completely redesigned festival layout and loads of extra spectacle, ‘The Classics Cup’ is shaping up to feel like a World Cup final for the hardstyle classics scene. After previously unveiling its star-studded line-up, the organization has now revealed a whole series of upgrades to prepare for an absolute championship-worthy edition.

Several areas are making a major transfer!
The biggest transfer of the year? The mainstage is moving to a completely new location on the festival grounds. According to the organization, the stage will become bigger, more impressive and receive major upgrades in both sound and show production. Thanks to the new positioning, external factors will have less impact, allowing the classics to hit even harder. The goal is for the atmosphere to feel like a packed football stadium full of classics supporters.
And as if that wasn’t enough festival madness already, a gigantic Ferris wheel will also appear next to the mainstage this year. Perfect for fans who want to experience the festival grounds from above from their own mini-skybox.
Area 4 gets promoted to a bigger arena
Area 4 is also receiving a serious upgrade this year and will move into a larger dome setup surrounded by containers. The organization describes the vibe as raw, intimate and perfectly matching both The Magic Show and the return of Moridin. An underground classics arena where the atmosphere will probably explode just as hard as a last-minute winning goal in extra time.
More atmosphere around the field
Not only the stages are getting upgraded, as the entire festival grounds will receive a makeover. Visitors can expect a larger food court, extra entertainment, a specialty beer bar, cocktail bar, new terraces and additional chill areas. The popular pedal boats will also make their return to VWAB Festival.
VWAB kicks off with an official opening show
Completely in World Cup style, the festival will introduce an official kick-off show for the very first time as the opening moment of the day. On top of that, the endshow will receive a major upgrade as well and will be curated by Adaro.
And for those not ready to leave the stadium yet, the afterparty ‘The Third Half’ will continue after the festival with Jason Payne, Jones and Sub Sonik, hosted by Da Syndrome.
Two extra areas and the partybus returns
VWAB is also adding two additional areas to the festival grounds. One of these areas will be dedicated entirely to true classics lovers, including a spot for the winner of the DJ contest in collaboration with Hardstyle Classics Lovers. The Eleven Travel partybus will also return, including surprise acts and its unique atmosphere. More information about this will be revealed soon.
