Frequencerz have big plans for a brand new album
The guys from the Frequencerz are quite busy these days. With gigs from all over the globe, you would say that they won’t have that much time left to work on their music. Nothing is further more from the truth, because Niels and Pepijn are currently on a roll in the studio. That means good news for all the fans. They are producing like mad men and that’s for a great reason: they have big plans for a brand new Frequencerz album.
The hardstyle dj’s, who were responsible for this years Defqon.1 anthem and so much more, are featured in the latest edition of a Dutch local magazine called LICHT op Eindhoven with an elaborated interview. This article was also shown in the Instagram Story from Frequencerz themselves yesterday. It tells us that they are really looking forward to the future: “We are full of ideas about a new album”, says Pepijn. A great thing about this story is that they spoil the detail that it will be an album without collaborations. “It will be a solo this time, so it only includes our tracks of our own.” That means that we are talking about a production containing just the tracks made by Frequencerz. And we expect that it will be released on their own founded label Roughstate. But when is still a question to be answered.
In the interview, Niels says that they have even more up their sleeves. “We are currently busy with new studio’s, which we are rebuilding at the moment.” They were also asked about their ultimate dream goal: “That would be a own show at the GelreDome or at the Philips Stadium (home ground of football club PSV Eindhoven), that also a possibility!”
The most import news out of this story is obviously the advent of the second Frequencerz album. The first one, called Medium Rare, turned out to be a huge hit. The debut album contains loads of dance floor slammers, which were pumping through the speakers at most of the festivals ever since. It was even launched with an own hosting at the Sunday of Rebirth Festival in 2016. As soon as there’s more information about the upcoming Frequencerz album, we’ll let you know straight away.
