The Bioweapon album is finally coming, the Australian hardstyle legends proudly announce. For over 15 years, their records like ‘Bass Power’ have caused enormous euphoria on all dancefloors. A spontaneous hype started this morning with the surprising release of ‘We May Live On’ that is suddenly on Spotify and that’s not all: because there is much more music on the way.
“What was old, is new again”
“Jesus Christ, we finally did it!”, Bioweapon tells Hard News with relief. The live-act presents a musical time capsule: full of never-before-heard tracks and the duo promises that the album lives up to its name. “It was a long road to get here, but we got here at long last. This album is an uncompromising journey into the sounds that shaped us, and the vibes that are missing yet so desperately desired in hardstyle.”
The 14-track album Time Capsule goes back to the past, with nostalgic references to the golden era of hardstyle. Bioweapon celebrates their love of hardstyle by staying true to the classic sound that inspired them – and all fans – more than fifteen years ago. In a time where many artists are experimenting with new subgenres, Audiofreq & Code Black are refreshingly revitalising the old familiar sound.
