Da Tweekaz opens up about their unique working method as a duo. In the latest episode of PLAFONDDIENST, Marcus and Kenth offer a unique behind-the-scenes look at their division of roles: “We are basically a music factory… 23 hours a day in the studio.”

Some duos divide tasks, but surprisingly, Da Tweekaz literally works in shifts. While one starts in the morning, the other continues through the night. As a result, the studio is running almost continuously. Especially in the run-up to major shows like Defqon.1 and Reverze, they work overtime to test and perfect new music. “When you’re in the flow, you just don’t want to stop,” they explain.
That efficiency comes not only from discipline but also from a clear division of labor. While Kenth focuses more on the creative side, the technical finishing touches lie with Marcus. “In the beginning, the two of us sat behind one computer. One person held the mouse, the other sat next to them. That just doesn’t work in the long run.”
Da Tweekaz: “There is a new The Elite EP on the way that is as big as half an album”
It is surprising that this open working method is also reflected in their collaborations. Whether it’s The Straikerz or their joint project The Elite with Coone and Hard Driver: everything revolves around trust. “We never say ‘no,’ but always: ‘Yes, and…’” According to them, the best ideas emerge precisely by stepping outside their comfort zone.
Additionally, the men of Da Tweekaz reveal that a new The Elite EP is on its way soon, and that you will be hearing a lot from them this summer (all over the world). Check out the new episode of PLAFONDDIENST – The Hardstyle Podcast here.
