‘Survive,’ Element’s latest track, can be streamed from today. This emotionally charged track has a deeper meaning than we are used to from the raw hardstyle DJ. “Now that I have worked my way up to a place where I am given a platform both literally and figuratively, I think it is important to occasionally address a more serious side and a personal subject.”

Element hasn’t always had it easy. For example, he struggled with serious depression in his youth and was in a coma for 10 days during the Covid period. “It was a close call,” he says in an interview with Hardstyle.com.
The track ‘Survive‘ is a reminder for him that he is still there. With the track he wants to tell the listener, but also himself, that it can sometimes be good to acknowledge your bad and sad moments. “Continuing and persevering is one thing, but realizing that there were times when things went badly and you are now doing better is another.”
“I touched a nerve with myself with ‘Survive’”
Looking at Element’s previous releases this year, ‘Bad Boyz’, ‘Dance’ and ‘Execute‘ ft. Adjuzt, then we see that these are mainly tracks that create an energetic atmosphere on the dance floor. ‘Survive‘ is more of a track of reflection and realization.
Yet Element is not afraid that listeners will not hear his unique sound in ‘Survive‘. “It is not the first time that I have made a track with euphoric or emotional melodies, so it is not strange to the average Element listener in that respect. The trick is to ensure that you keep your horizons and types of tracks broad, while your own sound can be heard in a new production.”
Element’s ‘Survive‘ can now be streamed via all your favorite music platforms and downloaded via Hardstyle.com. Want to stay informed about the new projects Element is working on? Then give him a follow on Instagram and Facebook.
