The recreation area in Bussloo is once again seeing a 100% hardcore festival return to its shores. Exterminate Festival will feature four different areas showcasing the full hardcore legacy, like millennium, early uptempo and more. A new addition to the rich history of the site, where the genre has held a permanent place for years.

The Bussloo recreational area is located in Gelderland, in the heart of the urban triangle of Apeldoorn, Deventer, and Zutphen. For decades, the grounds surrounding the lake have served as the backdrop for various hardcore events, which took place both during the day and at night. That musical history now forms the basis for a new chapter.
Hardcore lives on along the lake
To reinforce that tradition, a new concept is coming to the famous grounds: Exterminate Festival – The Hardcore Legacy. A teaser featuring first impressions of the festival has just been released. The event is dedicated to honoring the location’s rich hardcore history. One thing is clear: what was once built here lives on.

Exterminate Festival will consist of four different stages. The focus is explicitly on legacy genres within hardcore. Think of music styles from before 2020, such as millennium and early uptempo, but also next-gen early, which, according to the organizers, is newly produced early hardcore. These styles have built a strong following in recent years and evoke nostalgic feelings in many fans.

Exterminate Festival – The Hardcore Legacy will take place on August 15, 2026, with opening hours from 13:00 to 00:00. The initial outlines are clear, but further details are yet to be announced. The line-up release will follow on Tuesday, April 21.
Pre-registration for the ticket sale is possible via the organization’s website. Pre-registration ticket sales begin on April 23 at 12:00. Regular ticket sales start later that day at 19:00. One thing seems certain, however: the hardcore tradition will continue strongly at the site in Bussloo.
