Are you passionate about hardstyle, raw, uptempo or anything in between, and would you love to combine that passion with your studies? Then this is your chance! Hard News is once again looking for enthusiastic interns who want to work behind the scenes at the leading news platform for harder styles. Several full-time internships are available from February through July 2027, covering journalism, video production, graphic design and social media.

Become part of the leading news platform for harder styles
From breaking news and artist interviews to coverage of the biggest festivals, everything at Hard News revolves around harder styles. As an intern, you’ll become part of the team and have the opportunity to contribute to content that reaches thousands of fans every day.
Whether you enjoy writing, filming, designing or creating social media content, Hard News gives you the opportunity to develop your skills, bring new ideas to life and gain hands-on experience in the hardstyle scene.
Which internships are available?
For the upcoming internship period, we’re looking for students in four different fields:
- Journalism: write news articles, interview artists and event organizers, and cover festivals such as Defqon.1, Intents Festival and REBiRTH.
- Video Production & Editing: film at festivals and during podcast recordings, edit interviews and reports, and help develop creative video formats.
- Graphic Design: create visuals for social media and news articles, and contribute to branding and promotional materials.
- Social Media: create content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube, come up with new formats and stay on top of the latest trends in the scene.
More than just sitting behind a desk
An internship at Hard News gives you the opportunity to experience the hardstyle scene up close. Think of events such as Defqon.1, Intents Festival, REBiRTH Festival, Dominator and Vroeger Was Alles Beter. From getting a behind-the-scenes look and interviewing artists to producing festival reports and social media content, you’ll have the chance to experience the scene from a completely different perspective.
You’ll also have the freedom to pitch your own ideas and bring them to life. You’ll be involved in the team’s day-to-day activities and discover how news articles, videos and social media content are created.
