How much will a beer cost you this festival season?

The start of the festival season is approaching, and that means it’s time to look ahead at one of the essential parts of every festival: beer. We’ve listed the beer prices from various festivals in 2024. While it’s uncertain what prices will look like this year, we’ve gathered last season’s numbers for you.

Price increases at breweries

It’s expected that prices this season might be a bit higher. Major breweries like Heineken, Royal Swinkels (Bavaria), Grolsch, and AB InBev (Bud) have already increased their prices by three to six percent as of January 1, 2025, according to data from Biernet.

Beer prices from 2024

The cheapest beer last season could be found at HARDFEST, where you could enjoy a cold one for €3.50. Abroad, Hardstyle DNA (Norway) had the highest price, where a beer cost around €5.83. This data is based on online information about token prices from reviews and photos of token sales from 2024.

What does this mean for festival-goers?

With these price increases, it looks like grabbing a beer at your favorite festival might become even more expensive. However, it’s important to note that just because breweries are raising their prices doesn’t necessarily mean festival beer prices will follow suit.
