Kenth Kvien and Marcus Nordli form the euphoric hardstyle duo Da Tweekaz from Norway. Yesterday they announced on Snapchat that the two are working together with Thomas Verlderman and Nigel Coppen, better known as the Dutch raw hardstyle duo Sub Zero Project.
The Norwegian duo Da Tweekaz has been active in the hardstyle scene ever since 2007. Da Tweekaz moved from Norway to Belgium in 2012 (they are part of Belgian label Dirty Workz) to avoid all the traveling for the festivals in The Netherlands and Belgium. That same year, they released their first album called Time 2 Shine. Kenth and Marcus then followed up their first album with an original idea. They used #tweekay14 and released a track every month. The success received a follow-up in 2016.
Thomas and Nigel met each other on an internetforum. After they did a collab together it was clear they should become a duo. In 2013 Thomas and Nigel started Sub Zero Project and the big breakthrough happened in 2015 with their track ‘Funky Shit’. It was clear they where getting a bigger name and in 2016 the bookings got bigger and bigger. SZP had performances at QAPITAL, Defqon.1, Tomorrowland, Decibel outdoor and Supremacy. At this moment they have another big hit together with Devin Wild called ‘Meltdown’.
