The rumors about Project One just went into overdrive. A mysterious video posted by Musical Madness reveals just one date: 27 March 2027, accompanied by the words ‘Register now’. And the timing raises one major question. Are we looking at another comeback show, a dedicated event or could this finally have something to do with that long-awaited album?

So far, 2026 has been all about the return of Project One. Headhunterz & Wildstylez made their comeback after years away, took the project to several international stages and even introduced a completely revamped look. Once again, it raised the question: could the album actually be on its way?
Now, with a large part of those comeback shows already behind them, another date for 2027 has suddenly appeared. Musical Madness and Project One are keeping their cards close to their chest: no location, no concept and no explanation. Just 27 March 2027 and the option to register now.
“Release… Project One”
The rumors surrounding it go back years. Around Project One’s huge Ziggo Dome show in 2018, fans were already eagerly awaiting new music, and the possibility of another album has never completely disappeared since.
In fact, Headhunterz & Wildstylez have continued to add fuel to the fire themselves over the years. When Headhunterz was asked about the plans for the Project One album on PLAFONDDIENST in 2023, he suggested that having more time available would at least increase the chances. “In principle, you could approach it in the same way. There will be more time, so the chances are getting bigger,” he said. Meanwhile, their first performance in years was in January this year in the Brabanthallen, continued by a world tour across Canada, Spain and Sweden
“Maybe there’s already much more than you think”
But besides these and upcoming shows, also the album was later discussed extensively on Wildstylez’ Timeless Podcast, with Headhunterz joining as a guest. Even GTA 6 entered the conversation. “I saw that GTA 6 is actually coming, so it’s going to be close,” Wildstylez joked. Willem then predicted that once the game finally arrived, the comments would probably be filled with: “GTA 6 before the Project One album.”
When Villain suggested that Project One might simply need to spend a few days together again and see what comes out of it, Wildstylez dropped perhaps the most interesting comment of them all: “But maybe there’s already much more than you think.”
Late 2025: “We’re actually still working on that”
Headhunterz then gave little reason to believe that Project One had been put back on the shelf. “Right now it really feels like the pieces of the puzzle are in place.” He added that he was excited to spend more time with his best friend Wildstylez in the year ahead.
And then suddenly: 27 March 2027
And that is exactly where this new teaser comes in. Perhaps German fans are simply getting another Project One show. Maybe Musical Madness is preparing something much bigger with a dedicated concept.
Especially because that GTA 6 joke is suddenly getting remarkably close to reality. Back then, they were still laughing about whether GTA 6 or the Project One album would arrive first. Now, the game is scheduled for release in November. The horizon Headhunterz & Wildstylez jokingly referred to is almost here – and right at this moment, a mysterious Project One date appears just a few months later.
Hard News reached out to Musical Madness following the mysterious teaser. The organization is keeping its cards close to its chest and could neither confirm nor deny what will happen on 27 March 2027.
