Pounding beats, tens of thousands of people, and two gigantic indoor venues. Last weekend, all these ingredients came together for two nights of maximum energy at Reverze. While it was already dark outside and many people were going to sleep, the AFAS Dome and Lotto Arena filled up with fans of harder styles for the biggest indoor event of the year.

More than four hours before the doors opened on Friday evening, there were already lines of fans eager to get in. The air was thick with excitement for Reverze 2026. And what a first night it was.

Indoor, with an exuberant atmosphere

Dark-E had the honor of welcoming the crowd to the main stage, getting everyone’s feet moving right from the start with a set of jumpstyle records. Ruthless and The Darkraver continued the trend with a set full of the most famous classics. It was one record after another of stomping, jumping, and enjoying. B-Front opened his set with ‘Crossin’ Over’, setting the tone for the rest of the set. The entire set was filled with the raw energy and beautiful melodies we know him for. After Gunz for Hire, Korsakoff and Nosferatu took to the stage. They closed the main stage not only hard, but in style.

At the Lotto Arena, Serzo got the speakers warmed up nicely for the rest of the evening. Mish blasted a delicious cocktail of techno, saw, and raw kicks through the speakers, keeping the audience dancing energetically. And although no one slept that night, the premiere of The Saints ‘Holy Dreams’ was better than anyone could have ever dreamed. During the half-hour set, you were klaplonging one minute and going wild to melodic drops the next. As if that wasn’t enough, the return of Sickmode and Krowdexx’sNOISEMAKERS’ came through the speakers incredibly loud. The sick zaagkicks and cheerful chaos on stage spread to the audience and made this one of the funniest sets of the weekend.

On a journey ‘Beyond Boundaries’

After a morning of sleep, thousands of visitors were eager to start the second night of the event. Ecstatic shook up the audience in the AFAS Dome to get them going again with full energy. Da Tweekaz delivered song after song, which were sung along to at the top of everyone’s lungs throughout the venue.

The giant LED screens behind the stage and across the ceiling took visitors on a journey ‘Beyond Boundaries’. When the melody of the anthem first started, the audience sang along as one (though not always in tune). Accompanied by fireworks and beautiful lights, the anthem show was pure enjoyment. Afterwards, the anthem creators Hard Driver and Sound Rush continued to play on the main stage for another 45 minutes.

‘4 Of A Kind’

During the premiere of ‘4 Of A Kind’, everyone was tense with anticipation for what D-Block & S-te-Fan and Sub Zero Project were going to do here. To say that expectations were met is an understatement. For 45 minutes, I was blown away by nothing but new records. Only during ‘Darkest Hour’ did the audience recognize the melody, and it showed. More than 20,000 voices sang along at the top of their lungs from start to finish. This set, filled with real hardstyle that manages to innovate without seeking out the extreme, left everyone craving more.

For the rest of the evening, the atmosphere at the mainstage was impossible to break. Even when Noxiouz and Satirized stormed onto the stage at full throttle, the crowd kept going just as hard. During Turbo Saté, our aching leg muscles were pushed one more time to jump as high into the air as possible. By the end of it all, my arm muscles were completely shot from all the hammering. Although exhausted, the entire crowd still left the venue feeling satisfied.

The Lotto Arena was also taken ‘Beyond Boundaries’. During Outsiders’ set, not only Dutch but also French voices echoed through the arena, as the crowd jumped non-stop for three quarters of an hour in pure high spirits. Adjuzt’s live set ‘Awake, Asleep’ delivered such terrifying screeches that during ‘bLaCk VoiD’ the hairs on the back of my neck stood up. Dr. Donk vs GPF gave everyone’s brains one last proper massage with some ‘Phat Bass’ before it was finally time to head home after yet another successful edition of Reverze.
