On the other side of the world, organiser HSU Events is pulling out all the stops for Knockout Outdoor 2025, which will take place at ENGIE Stadium and the surrounding grounds of Sydney Showground. The event has long held the title of Australia’s largest outdoor hardstyle festival and once again aims to break records with what’s being billed as the biggest festival stage the country has ever seen: “Experience the largest festival stage ever built in Australia, with a record-breaking structure designed for an unforgettable show!”

Massive line-up

For this edition, a significant portion of the Dutch hardstyle circus is heading down under, giving extra weight to the festival’s theme Return of the Circuz. The line-up features more than 40 acts representing all corners of the harder styles. Among them are major names such as Brennan Heart, D-Block & S-te-Fan with their Ghost Stories show, and Adrenalize with a special Journey set. In total, five artists will present a Journey-themed set.

Rawstyle is also well represented at Knockout, with acts like Rebelion performing Beyond the Horizon, Regain’s Polish Punisher concept, and TOZA LIVE. The hardcore and uptempo scenes are present as well, featuring names such as Angerfist, Dimitri K, and Lil Texas. Across the three stages, there will be around nine live acts in total. Three distinct stages

The festival will be divided across three areas, each with its own atmosphere and focus. The largest is The Stadium (mainstage) set inside ENGIE Stadium. This will be the beating heart of the Circuz, where HSU will present the biggest stage Australia has ever seen, complete with cutting-edge visuals and a revamped laser ceremony during headliner sets.

Next is The Mega Pit, a fully upgraded raw/core stage. This year, the Pit moves indoors to a large hall with increased capacity, featuring a lowered tent ceiling to enhance the underground vibe. Attendees can expect an intense experience with 72 lasers and extensive pyrotechnics.

Finally, The Oasis offers an intimate setting for fans of classics and euphoric hardstyle. This stage will adopt a boiler room-style layout, surrounded by immersive LED walls. The night will close out with a high-energy uptempo takeover by the BKJN crew.
