On Saturday, November 28, 2026, the Werkspoorkathedraal in Utrecht will be transformed into the home of RESURREXION, an event where Radical Redemption and his fans will look back on fifteen years of highlights, but also the difficult moments that nearly made him quit.

“I didn’t know if I wanted to continue anymore”
In the video, Joey speaks openly about the challenges he has faced over the past few years. According to him, the COVID-19 pandemic, the passing of his father and no longer being able to perform at festivals around the world had a huge impact on his life.
Visibly emotional, he explains that there were multiple moments when he doubted whether he wanted to continue as an artist. “I went to hell and back,” he says. “There were moments when I was lying in bed staring at the ceiling, thinking: I don’t know if I want to do this anymore.”
According to Radical Redemption, it was ultimately his fanbase that helped him through that difficult period. The support of the so-called Army of the Radical, the messages he received and the fans who kept showing up with their flags gave him the motivation to keep going. “Without my backbone, without the Army of the Radical, there wouldn’t have been a Radical Redemption anymore.”

That is exactly why the event was given the name RESURREXION. While it may look like a celebration of his 15-year career on paper, Radical Redemption sees it primarily as a way to thank the people who stood by him during his darkest moments. “Because you did not give up on me, I will not give up on you,” he says in the video.
According to the artist, that message is the heart of the event. On November 28, he wants to look back on everything he has experienced over the past fifteen years together with his fans, while also giving something back to the people who have supported him every step of the way.

For RESURREXION, Radical Redemption has chosen the Werkspoorkathedraal in Utrecht. In a newsletter to fans, he describes the venue as unique and industrial. According to him, it has never been used for a hard dance event before.
He also speaks enthusiastically about the venue in the announcement video. The Werkspoorkathedraal is best known for hosting events such as Soenda and, according to Radical Redemption, provides the perfect setting to celebrate this milestone together with his fans.

15 Years of Radical Redemption – RESURREXION will take place on Saturday, November 28, 2026, at the Werkspoorkathedraal in Utrecht. The event runs from 14:00 until 00:00 and features one stage. Ticket sales start on Thursday, June 11. Fans who pre-register will gain access to tickets at 12:00, while the general sale begins at 17:00 the same day.
