Rawstyle, slowtempo and uptempo come together on Saturday 12 December for the very first edition of Slow Down. The new harder styles festival makes its debut at Eventcentre Aquabest in Best, with Sickmode, Krowdexx, TOZA, The Dark Horror and a mystery guest among the names on the line-up.

‘Low BPM. Fat kicks.’ That’s the slogan Slow Down is using to introduce its first edition. Rather than focusing entirely on one genre, the new festival deliberately opts for a crossover between different sides of the harder styles. Slowtempo specifically gets its own place on the programme, alongside rawstyle and uptempo.
Slow Down is organised by the same team behind Belgium’s Energy Festival. For this brand-new concept, the organisation is making the move to the Netherlands. The first edition will take place at Aquabest in Best, featuring one area and a packed line-up.

Big names for the first edition of Slow Down
Slow Down is immediately bringing a strong line-up to Aquabest for its very first edition. Sickmode, Krowdexx, TOZA, The Dark Horror and Noiseflow are among the major names that perfectly fit the new concept’s focus on slower tempos and zaag kicks.
Cardination, Kenai, The Straikerz, Levenkhan, Dirty Lil Monkeyz, Rayzen, Invaderz, Big K, Cybergunz, Peygan and Schlot will also make their appearance during the first edition. With these names, Slow Down immediately brings together a broad selection of artists around the crossover between rawstyle, slowtempo and uptempo.
And the line-up isn’t quite complete yet. Among all the announced artists is also a mystery guest, whose identity Slow Down is keeping under wraps for now.
